“My name is Geligele Naba. I was born and raised in Alaba, a predominantly Muslim area in Ethiopia. Growing up in a household with a Christian mother and a non-Christian father, my siblings and I faced severe socio-economic hardship and intense religious persecution. Yet, through every trial, God proved to be a true way maker, sustaining our lives and keeping our hope alive.

After high school graduation, financial constraints meant I could not afford college tuition, leaving me stuck at home for three long years. My childhood dream of working in fashion design felt completely out of reach. That was until God opened a life-changing door through Logos HEDC.

Through full sponsorship, I joined Logos HEDC's residential program, which served as a complete missionary equipment center. More than just housing, meals, and specialized workspace, Logos HEDC provided a transformational environment grounded in Christian value-based entrepreneurship. Alongside hands-on technical training in garment construction and design, I was equipped spiritually and practically to view my craft as a tool for ministry and economic independence. The holistic curriculum—covering biblical business ethics, mindset renewal, financial stewardship, and continuous mentorship—has empowered me not only as a fashion designer, but as a missionary equipped to impact my community for Christ.”
